MG ZS electric SUV unveiled; comes with air purifier, runs 340 km fully charged

MG Motor India has unveiled its second product, the ZS EV, in India after the popular introduction of Hector in July this year. The electric sports utility vehicle is based on the same spec as the MG GS model that is sold in the global market. Noida authority to set up 5 Megawatt solar power plants at multiple locations

Rooftop solar panels generating 5 megawatts of electricity are in the offing at various locations of the city, Noida Authority officials said on Thursday. A request for proposal has already been prepared to invite tenders for the work, which is estimated to be completed in 12 months at a cost of around Rs 43 lakh, a senior official said. India ranks 5th in Global Climate Risk Index

India is the fifth most vulnerable country to climate change, according to a report released by Environment think tank, Germanwatch. In the Climate Risk Index 2020, India’s rank has worsened from the 14th spot in 2017 to 5th in 2018 in the global vulnerability ladder. A new study unveiled on Wednesday says the growth in India’s carbon dioxide emissions this year was likely to be considerably lower than in the last few years. Sembcorp buys remaining stake in Sembcorp Energy India for Rs 406 crore

Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries said on Wednesday that it is taking over complete ownership of its India business unit, Sembcorp Energy India (SEIL), by acquiring its remaining 5.95% stake from Gayatri Projects (GPL) for Rs 406 crore.
