DAO plans to launch electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, DAO EVTech, is all set to launch its operations in India by February 2020. The company has started assembling electric two-wheelers at its leased factory in Hyderabad and will start rolling out the vehicles by February. However, 2020-end the company plans to set up its own automobile complex in Andhra Pradesh near Krishnapatnam Port and have its own manufacturing unit with a capacity of 500,000 vehicles per annum. Google Maps has received a new filter to classify the Electric Vehicles (EV) charging stations based on plug type. India has secured a USD 277 million (about Rs 1,900 crore) loan from Germany to establish an energy-efficient housing programme in the country. A loan agreement has been signed between State Bank of India (SBI) and German development bank KfW for USD 277 million to establish an energy-efficient housing programme in India, SBI said in a release. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) are close to finalising a star rating mechanism for solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels. Bank of America lends over Rs 350 cr to Solar firm Fourth Partner Energy

Bank of America on Monday said it has extended a loan of Rs 356.5 crore to domestic solar player Fourth Partner Energy. This is the first transaction done by the lender in the country, wherein it has extended a local currency credit facility, an official statement said.
