Rajasthan launches new policies for solar, wind and hybrid energy

The Rajasthan government on Thursday launched new schemes and policies to promote industrial development, investment, solar energy, wind energy and small scale industries in the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched the Industrial Development Policy-2019, Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme-2019, Chief Minister's Small Scale Industries Promotion Scheme 2019, Solar Energy Policy-2019 and Wind and Hybrid Energy Policy-2019 at a function here. Energy Minister BD Kalla, Industry Minister Parsadi Lal Meena were amongst those present on the occasion.

EESL inks pact with Baghirathi Sustainability India to promote EVs

Hyderabad firm may emerge as lowest bidder for e-bus project

Hyderabad-based Olectra Greentech Ltd (formerly Goldstone Infratech Ltd) and its Chinese technical partner BYD are likely to emerge as the lowest bidder in the electric bus project of state corporations in Karnataka, multiple sources in state transport undertakings (STUs) said. India has so far installed 96 waste-to-energy projects for generation of power based on urban, industrial, agricultural and municipal solid waste, power and renewable energy minister R K Singh said. India’s automobile dealers face an existential crisis next year, an industry body said. IBM's new battery design taps seawater as alternative mineral source

International Business Machines Corp on Wednesday said it has come up with a new battery technology that uses materials extracted from seawater and requires no cobalt, as the race to find alternative sources to the expensive mineral intensifies. Shimla: Delay in 100 MW hydro project led to cost overrun of Rs 643 cr, says CAG

A delay of 29 months in the commissioning of 100 MW Sainj hydroelectric project in Kullu in Himachal Pradesh led to cost overrun of Rs 643.04 crore, a report by Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has revealed.
