Adani Green Energy acquires AGEPteL to invest in international renewable business

 Adani Green Energy today said it has acquired 100 per cent stake of Adani Green Energy Pte Ltd (AGEPteL) from its Group firm Adani Global Pte Ltd. AGEPteL was incorporated in March 2017 for investment in international renewable businesses, a BSE filing said. 

According to the filing, AGEPteL has authorised and paid-up share capital of $2,000 with no turnover as on March 31, 2018.

SECI tenders 250MW of solar in Maharashtra

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for 250MW of solar capacity at the Dondaicha Solar Park (Phase-1) in Dhule, Maharashtra.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation to set up solar farms and drains to generate clean energy

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has announced an ambitious plan to set up “solar drains” and “solar farms”, besides covering municipal buildings with panels generating clean power. “We will cover drains in Greater Kailash and Subhash Nagar with solar panels. Solar fields will be set up on corporation-owned lands in Ghummanhera and Faridabad. Funds for these projects will be raised via municipal bonds,” standing committee chairperson Shikha Rai said.

Tata Power installs 6MW rooftop solar project at Indian oil refinery

Tata Power has built a 6MW rooftop solar project across 34 rooftops of an oil refinery site of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, which is based in the south Indian state of Karnataka.

Goa government to launch tender for solar-powered ferry service soon

The river navigation department (RND) is gearing up to add new ferries to its fleet. Tariffs fall at NTPC's solar auction

Tariffs dropped at NTPC’s latest auction of 2,000 MW of solar projects on Tuesday, suggesting that developers have not yet begun factoring in the safeguard duty of 25% imposed on imported solar panels by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
