Brussels urges “carbon neutral” EU by 2050

The EU should be “carbon neutral” by the middle of this century, the European Commission said ahead of presenting its long-term strategy against climate change on Wednesday.

India's first large-scale floating solar project is on its way with Shapoorji Pallonji winning the first block in Solar Energy Corporation of India’s auction of 150 MW of such projects on the Rihand Dam, along the Uttar Pradesh-Madhya Pradesh border.

CDC Group plans Ayana stake sale to raise $100 million

CDC Group Plc, the UK government’s development finance institution, plans to raise around $100 million by selling a stake in Ayana Renewable Power, its renewable energy platform recently launched in India, two people aware of the development said.
