Over 150 GW of renewable energy projects installed or in pipelineIndia now has over 150 gigawatt (GW) of renewable energy generation capacity either installed or in pipeline according to data shared by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Green developers in AP lost Rs 1,400 cr since AugustRenewable energy developers have lost revenue of Rs 1,400 crore due to curtailment of wind and solar power in Andhra Pradesh since August last year, said industry executives. “Out of the 7,307 mw of renewable energy installed in Andhra Pradesh, 20-25% of solar power and 50-60% of wind power is being curtailed,” said one of the executives, who did not wish to be identified.
