Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport's T3 Achieves 'Platinum' Rating, First In India

The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Thursday said the national capital's Indira Gandhi International Airport's (IGIA) Terminal 3 (T3) has achieved "Platinum" rating from Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

Kathmandu Metropolitan City starts generating gas from waste in Kathmandu

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has finally started generating gas from waste. The KMC had imported waste-to-energy plant from India for generating gas and electricity from garbage produced in Kathmandu Valley.

NGT directs Delhi govt to shut pickling units in Delhi

Rs 5,763 crore project to decongest Delhi to become India's first green road

The Rs 5,763 crore Eastern Peripheral Expressway project to decongest Delhi is on fast-track to completion in about "400 days" to become India's first 135 km green road to be lit entirely by solar panels and have advanced traffic system.

India Energy Exchange records highest ever power trade of over 3 billion units in September

The Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) on Wednesday said that its platform registered a record high trade reaching 3.63 billion units (BU) in September with an average price of Rs 2.43 per unit of electricity.

IEX said that the Day-Ahead Market traded 3,630 Million Units (MU) in September, the highest ever monthly trade since the inception of IEX in 2008 out of 6,277 MUs total sell bids.

Cumulative Solar Installations in India Cross 8.6 GW

Cumulative solar installations in India have reached 8.6 gigawatt as of September 2016. This calendar year installations are expected to touch 4.8 gigawatt while installations so far has been 3.8 gigawatt
