Punjab allocates Rs 100 crore to set up solar plants for tubewells

Chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab government plans to set up solar photovoltaic projects to run over 2000 agriculture pump sets by extending 80 per cent subsidy in 2017-18. EESL to raise Rs 1,000 cr for retrofitting efficient appliances in Maharashtra, railway stations

Major players stay away from Tamil Nadu’s oversubscribed 1.5GW solar tender

Although Tamil Nadu’s latest 1.5GW solar tender has seen significant oversubscription, with 3,774.5MW of submissions, most of the key solar players in India have not participated.
