Solid Power, BMW partner to develop next-generation EV batteries

U.S. EV battery company Solid Power said on Monday it had partnered with Germany's BMW AG to develop the next-generation solid-state battery technology for use in electric vehicles (EVs).

Toyota to make over 10 battery EV models in early 2020s

Environment ministry aligns itself with power ministry, seeks relaxed deadline on emission norms for polluting power plants

28 solar power plants on Central Railway generate 924 KWp of electricity

As part of its campaign to promote green/renewable energy, the Central Railway has installed a total 28 solar power plants with a capacity of 924 kilowatt peak (KWp) on its five divisions and at a workshop.

Govt plans to supply solar power to 40 lakh farmers in 10 yrs

Maharashtra energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday unveiled an ambitious plan to use solar energy not only for farmers but also schools. The BJP-Sena government has set a target to supply solar energy to about 40 lakh farmers for about 12 hours every day.
