Solar ‘prosumers’ to get 50 percent subsidy

To incentivise production of solar power in the state, the cabinet has approved amendments to the Goa State Solar Policy 2017 where small and large prosumers (consumers and producers of solar power) will receive 50% subsidy instead of the earlier proposed interest-free loan that was be recovered in instalments.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) started off its smart campus development project with the groundbreaking ceremony of the ABB microgrid with battery energy storage at the campus. Tangedco aims for 250MW solar floating projects
