ThomasLloyd acquires stake in SolarArise

European investment firm ThomasLloyd Group has acquired a stake in Delhi-based solar energy producer SolarArise India Projects Pvt. Ltd, marking its first transaction in the country.

The investment will help SolarArise expand its solar energy capacity by around 250 megawatt, ThomasLloyd said in a statement. It didn’t disclose financial details of the deal.

Uttar Pradesh 500MW auction discovers tariff above Rs 3 per unit

SECI extends bids for 150 MW floating solar project

In September, SECI issued a tender for 150 MW of floating solar to be developed over the Rihand Dam in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. In total, three 50 MW grid connected projects are set to be developed. It has extended the date of bid submissions to October 25.

Coal India inks pact with NLC for solar, thermal power diversification

Greenko plans to buy Skeiron in Rs 3,500 crore deal
