Waaree Energy Storage System raises USD 2 mn in seed funding

IL&FS has sold its stake in the environment business held by IL&FS Environmental Infrastructure & Services Limited (IEISL) and its subsidiaries to EverEnviro Resource Management Private Limited (EverEnviro), the fully-owned arm of the Green Growth Equity Fund (GGEF), India’s leading climate fund, managed by EverSource Capital. ISC-EESL eyes annual saving of $62 million by replacing inefficient motors

US-based non-profit organisation ISC and state-run EESL, together under National Motor Replacement Programme are eying energy savings of USD 62 million (around Rs 454 crore) annually. The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) have saved USD 7.3 million worth of energy under NMRP, a statement said.
