Govt plans crude sourcing playbook to boost energy security

AGEL receives LOA for 600 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project

Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eight (AREHEightL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL) received LOA for 600 MW WindSolar Hybrid project. AREHEightL participated in a tender issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for setting up 1,200 MW ISTS-connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project. Adani bids for entire 6.4GW solar tender

The Adani Group has bid for the entire 6.4 gigawatts (GW) capacity aimed at powering the farms of Andhra Pradesh as part of India’s largest solar tender, said two people aware of the development. The other bidders are Andhra Pradesh-based Sri Sai for 5.8GW, NTPC Ltd (1.8GW), Torrent Power Ltd (300MW) and HES-SSISPL (600MW). Bidders had until Tuesday to submit their offers. Adani Green Energy arm commissions 100 mw solar unit in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy’s subsidiary has commissioned a solar power project at Khirsara in Gujarat of capacity 100 megawatts, taking the company’s total operational renewable capacity to 2,950 mw, the Gautam Adani led company said on Wednesday. Cabinet approves modified scheme to enhance ethanol distillation capacity in the country

There has been surplus production of sugar in the country since sugar season 2010-11 (except reduction due to drought in sugar season 2016-17); & sugar production is likely to remain surplus in the country in coming years due to introduction of improved varieties of sugarcane. In the normal sugar season (October- September) about 320 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) of sugar is produced whereas, our domestic consumption is about 260 LMT. Indian Electric Vehicle (EV) solutions firm EV COSMOS announced it has tied up with ChargeNET Sri Lanka, a group company of Codegen International of UK, for providing EV charging solutions for customers in India. Sterlite Power and AMP Capital join hands to develop $1 bn transmission projects

Infrastructure company Sterlite Power Ltd and global investment manager AMP Capital today announced they have joined hands to set up four power transmission projects in India with a total capital outlay of $1 billion. Gujarat announces new solar power policy 2021

Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Tuesday announced the state’s new solar power policy which will be valid for the next five years. The policy has multiple incentives to reduce the share of coal-based power and move towards green energy. Oakridge Energy to set up solar power plants for 1,000 schools

Solar firm Oakridge Energy on Tuesday said it has signed agreements with the Delhi government and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to solarise schools in Delhi. Coal India to Set Up Integrated Solar Wafer Manufacturing Facility

Coal India Limited (CIL) has received approval from its board to venture into the solar power value chain and aluminum value chain. In a BSE filing, the coal giant said that the board has approved the creation of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to set up an integrated solar wafer manufacturing facility to boost the solar value chain.
