Kerala’s Solar target set at 1,870 MW by 2022

If things pan out, the installed capacity of solar power generation in the state will touch 1,870 megawatts (MW) by 2022. Solar dispute: WTO sets up panel on India’s requests

The World Trade Organisation’s Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) has agreed to India’s request for setting up a panel to determine whether the country complied with a previous ruling striking down its domestic content requirements for solar cells and modules. India had requested a panel following a submission made by the US where it had accused New Delhi of not complying with the ruling and also sought permission to take retaliatory action.

AIIB approves $1.5 bln in loans to India for infrastructure projects

Beijing-based Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved $1.5 billion in loans to India for infrastructure-related projects in 2018, a senior official of the AIIB said on Tuesday.
