KSEB to buy power at 6.17 per unit from waste-to-energy plant

Ending a delay of over two years, Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) has fixed Rs 6.17 as the tariff per unit for KSEB to purchase electricity from the proposed waste-to-energy plant at Brahmapuram.

India’s first solar-powered EV charging station installed in Mumbai

Renewable energy solutions provider Magenta Power, in association with Exicom Power Solutions, has installed India's first solar-powered DC fast charging station for electric vehicles (EVs) in Turbhe, Mumbai.

Canadian pension fund to issue green bonds

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), which has been actively investing in renewables over the last year, now plans to issue its inaugural Green Bond, and it claims to be the first pension fund to do so.

India's first technology transfer pact for lithium-ion batteries signed

An agreement on first transfer of technology for lithium-ion batteries was signed here on Sunday between the government-run Central Electro Chemical Research Institute (CECRI) and RAASI Solar Power Pvt Ltd, an official statement said on Sunday.
