Amara Raja launches electric vehicle charging stations in Tirupati

Amara Raja, among the largest battery manufacturers in India, announced it has installed electric vehicle battery charging and swapping stations along with a fleet of electric autos in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Uncertainty regarding the issuance of city permit to green autorickshaws is likely to be addressed soon. Regional transport authority (RTA) will take a final decision on the issues related to city permit during the next RTA meeting.
