RERC fixes Rs 6/unit power tariff for EV charging stationsTo pave the way for the growth of electric vehicles (EV), Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) has fixed the tariff for charging stations at Rs 6 per unit by creating a new category of consumer. The standard operating procedure (SOP) for establishing these electric vehicles (EV) charging stations were released by the department. The regulatory body has also decided to provide relaxation in permanent fee from Rs 135 to Rs 40 per month for these stations. MERC to allow floating of open tenders for Solar ProjectsThe Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has issued an order allowing the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to float open tenders for its solar projects under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) program adopting a continuous bidding process. Adani Green Energy emerges as largest winner in hybrid auctionAdani Green Energy emerged as the largest winner in the 1200MW wind-solar hybrid auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India on Wednesday. The company won 600MW at a tariff of Rs 2.41 per unit. ABC Renewable Energy, and AMP Energy won 380MW and 130MW respectively at the same tariff.
