India seeks deferment of annual Indus meeting with Pak due to COVID-19, lockdownIndia's has requested Pakistan to defer a meeting between their Indus Commissioners in the wake of coronavirus pandemic, officials said on Thursday. Power demand dips, discoms’ revenue hitThe demand for power in the country has taken a sharp dip of 20 per cent following a nationwide lockdown. In a letter sent to the PMO on Thursday, the All India Power Engineers’ Federation (AIPEF) said that demand had crashed following a complete shutdown of industrial and commercial units and railways and would affect state power utilities/distribution companies as their major source of income was blocked.
