Niti Aayog sets up task force to brainstorm on agriculture reforms

Latest 1.2 GW solar capacity awarded at Rs 2.54/kWh

The latest 1.2 GW solar auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) saw lowest winning tariffs (Rs 2.54/kWh) approaching the same level as in February auction (Rs 2.55/kWh). Four companies emerged winners at Rs 2.54/kWh, with Ayana Renewable Power, ReNew Power and Azure Power bagging 300 MW each and Mahindra Susten 250 MW. Solar tariffs increase marginally in SECI auction

Tariffs rose marginally from February in an auction by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on Wednesday for 1200MW of projects. SECI is the renewable energy ministry's nodal agency responsible for conducting wind and solar auctions. Ayana Power, Renew Power, Azure Power and Mahindra Susten quoted a tariff of Rs 2.54 for 300MW, 300MW, 300MW and 250MW respectively. Avaada Energy won 50MW at Rs 2.55 per unit.
