Adani Gas to acquire three of Jay Madhok Energy's city gas licences

"Adani Gas (AGL) has signed a definitive agreement for acquisition of three geographical areas (Gas) namely Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Kutch (East)," the firm said in a statement. "All 3 GAs have high volumes potential in terms of demand of over 6.5 million standard cubic meters per day over a period 10 years. Fortum eNext completes project to cut NOx emissions at Hindalco Mahan coal-fired power plant

Fortum eNext, a part of Finnish clean energy firm Fortum, has completed its first commercial combustion modification project in India at Hindalco-Mahan Aluminium, in Madhya Pradesh. The project was aimed at reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions on one of the 150-MW boilers located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, a Fortum statement said. Centre approves ₹1,810 crore investment for Himachal hydro project

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday approved the investment of Rs 1,810.56 crore for the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I Hydro Electric Project located on the river Satluj in Shimla and Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh. Karnataka government hikes power tariff by 5.4 per cent from November 1

Pay more for electricity with the state government on Wednesday announcing a 5.4% increase in power tariff effective Nov 1. The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the tariff revision with average increase at 40 paise per unit. Bitter harvest: Stubble burning up 36 per cent this October

An analysis of images from four satellites and ground reports has shown that stubble burning increased by 36% this October compared with last year. Haryana govt decides to give exemption in electricity-duty for 20 years

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has said that the state government has decided to give exemption in electricity-duty for 20 years under "Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy -2020" (HEEP) to attract more industries in the state. New tariff norms provide relief to renewable energy sector

The new tariff issued by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) extended major relief to renewable energy power developers, who have to only pay wheeling charges on actual power transmission than on contractual capacity.
