International Conference on PPP Models for Waste to Worth Projects
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has set up a Task Force on Waste to Worth in order to support the Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). The objective of this Task Force is to facilitate participation of credible investors and technology providers, for management of Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW) on a sustainable basis, through a PPP model.
As a part of this, an International Conference on PPP Models for Waste to Worth Projects is being organized by CII on 30th November 2018, at Shangri la, New Delhi. The conference is supported by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India and the theme of this conference is ‘Private Sector Investment in MSW Management- towards Sustainable Swachh Bharat’.
The conference is an effort to bring together investors, waste management companies, policy makers, state authorities, technology providers, cement, power and fertilizer companies on a single platform to deliberate a solution towards keeping Indian cities clean in a sustainable manner.
